Salt Building Restoration The Salt Building Project involved the complete restoration and renovation of a building originally built in 1931. First used as a facility post-renovation during the 2010 Winter Olympics, the building is now home to the CRAFT Beer Market. The whole building was extended three feet off its 300 piles as part of the restoration. The project had to fulfill stringent City of Vancouver heritage guidelines, as well as achieve LEED Gold certification.
